Cashmere Care Guide
## Cashmere Care Guide: How to Clean, Store, and Maintain Your Knitwear
### 1. Cleaning Your Cashmere
One of the simplest ways to reduce your environmental impact while preserving the delicate lifespan of cashmere is gentle hand washing.
1. **Prepare the Bath:** Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild, dye-free detergent or specialized cashmere wash.
2. **Soak and Agitate:** Submerge your cashmere garment completely. Gently agitate the water with your hands for about one million, then let it soak peacefully for five minutes.
3. **Remove Excess Water:** Gently press down on the garment against the basin to squeeze out the excess water. **Crucial:** Never twist, wring, or stretch the fibers.
4. **The Towel Roll:** Lay the garment flat on a thick, dry towel. Softly roll the towel up with the sweater inside, pressing down gently to absorb remaining moisture.
5. **Air Dry Flat:** Unroll the towel, reshape the garment to its natural silhouette, and lay it flat on a drying rack or dry surface away from direct sunlight. **Never hang your cashmere**, as this causes stretching and severe shoulder distortion. **Do not put cashmere in a tumble dryer.**

### 2. Storing Your Cashmere
Proper storage keeps your knitwear pristine and ready for the next season.
* Always store your premium cashmere folded and flat.
* We highly recommend keeping them inside breathable, sealed garment bags to maintain their shape, minimize friction-induced pilling, and shield them completely from moth damage.

### 3. Managing Cashmere Pilling
Pilling is a natural characteristic of ultra-soft, fine-gauge cashmere. These small lint balls are formed by surface friction during everyday wear and friction movement.
* To keep your knitwear looking brand new, we recommend using a specialized **Cashmere Comb**.
* For the ultimate on-the-go maintenance, try our **Travel Luxury Comb** to gently shave away fuzz and restore that smooth, buttery-soft luster.
